I have yet to win a Blogland giveaway--until today! It has come at a good time for me both personally and as a creator (maker? or is that too True Blood? haha).... creative person. I have had tons of ideas flying around, filing pages and pages in my journal, and I am toeing the edge of the cliff, ready to jump into a new venture. But of course, I have a little anxiety. Most creative people are sensitive and do deeply care about what others think, whether they admit it or not. Anyway, I know I will do it, but I have been feeling rather private lately.
So, thank you Lottie and Heather Moore (Skinny LaMinx)!! This was just the rush of inspiration I have needed. Heather is one of my favorite textile designers and I only recently discovered the beautiful posts on Lottie Loves.

On another note, I have been asked to help with my son's Kindergarten fundraiser to help his school raise money for a new playground. I will be teaching the children how to block print on linen and making some snack bags with their designs to sell on behalf of the fundraiser. Very excited and happy to help.
